Hanover Police arrested three people following a traffic stop on December 23 in downtown Hanover.
Officers stopped a vehicle with unauthorized licence plates at 2:30 p.m., leading to the arrest of a 41-year-old from Southgate, a 33-year-old from Hanover and a 50-year-old from Brockton.
Police found methamphetamine valued at $1,400, fentanyl worth $5,000, and cocaine estimated at $23,000, along with digital scales, packaging materials, and other drug paraphernalia. Additionally, property believed to be stolen was seized and remains under investigation.
All three face multiple charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. One of the charged also faces charges under the Highway Traffic Act. The suspects were released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Walkerton Court at a later date.
