The Town of Saugeen Shores has announced the date for the grand opening and donor celebrations of its new Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre.
The "Splish Splash Thank You Bash" will take place on Saturday, January 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with doors opening at 9 a.m. and drop‑in attendance welcome throughout the morning.
The event will officially open the long‑anticipated facility, beginning with remarks at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Mayor’s ceremonial Cannonball into the new pool.
Guests can enjoy refreshments, activities, tours, and a chance to see the new amenities firsthand.
At 11 a.m., the Breakers Swim Team will host a time trial. And after the donor celebration wraps up, the town says there will be After Party Family Activities at 2:30 p.m., with more details to come.
The Town says it looks forward to welcoming residents, donors, and partners to the completion of this major community milestone.
