Waste pickup delays in Georgian Bluffs to be dealt with Friday

The Township of Georgian Bluffs says due to a high volume of waste, many pickups scheduled for January 7 couldn't be completed.

With many zones missed, the township will be doing waste pickups for those affected areas on Friday, January 9.

Those areas include:

  • Concession 7, right off Highway 21

  • West side of Concession 7, from Grey Road 5 to Sideroad 6

  • East Side of Concession 11, north of Grey Road 5 to Highway 21

  • North side of Grey Road 5, from Concession 11 to Concession 7

  • South side of Highway 21, from Grey Bruce Line to Grey Road 18

  • East side of Grey Road 3, north of Grey Road 16 to Grey Road 5

  • West side of Grey Road 18, from Grey Road 5 to Highway 21

  • Sunny Valley Road South, southside only

  • South side of Sideroad 6, from Concession 5 Derby to Concession 3 Derby

  • West side of Concession 3 Derby, from Grey Road 16 to Sideroad 6

  • East side of Grey Bruce Line, from Sideroad 12 to Highway 21

· North side of Sideroad 12, from Concession 11 to Grey Bruce Line

Residents in those areas are being asked to have their waste out for collection by 7 a.m. so Waste Management staff can collect it.

If you live outside the areas noted above and your waste was also not picked up, report it through Contact GB so staff can follow up with the service provider.
