Hanover Christmas campaign raises nearly $65K

Almost $65,000 was raised by the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation’s (HDHF) recent Christmas campaign.

The 2025 Angel Tree Christmas Appeal fundraiser was the highest holiday fundraiser to date, according to a media release from the foundation.

A total of $64,960 was raised in support of the HDHF Fluoroscopy Machine Campaign. In addition to the funds raised, the Angel Tree was filled with messages of hope, gratitude, and remembrance that inspired patients and staff throughout the holiday season.

Over 6,500 hand-stuffed envelopes were delivered across Hanover, Ayton, Neustadt, and Elmwood back on December 3 by foundation members.

The foundation shares that the response from the community was overwhelming.

"Simply put... wow," said a statement from the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation. "The generosity of our communities has once again reminded us how deeply people care about local healthcare. The Angel Tree represents more than fundraising. It reflects compassion, community spirit, and a shared commitment to ensuring exceptional care close to home."
