Owen Sound police seek suspect that stole donation box

Owen Sound Police is looking for the public's help tracking down the person that stole from the Festival of Northern Lights.

The non-profit festival reported that its donation box was stolen around 1:45 a.m. on Monday morning. The suspect used tools to remove the box from the kiosk in Harrison Park.

The festival said it was the second time its donation box has been taken, and as a result, there will no longer be a physical location for contributions. Those looking to support the festival can make an e-transfer to info@fonl.ca.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Owen Sound Police at 519-376-1234.
