The Perth County OPP are reminding drivers that you must stop for school buses after having to charge a West Perth driver for failing to do so.
On October 23, police were called after a vehicle failed to stop for a school bus shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Line 34 near the town of Dublin.
Police were able to track down the driver, and charged the 39-year-old resident of West Perth with fail to stop for school bus.
Drivers are required to stop when meeting a school bus that has its red signal lights flashing, and the owner of any vehicle that fails to do so may be charged.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on December 9 to answer to the charge, which carries a fine of $200 - $1,000 upon conviction.
