An Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh community is under a boil water advisory for the time being.
The Medical Officer of Health for Huron Perth Public Health issued the notice for the Huron Sands Drinking Water System on Thursday.
The advisory has been issued due to no water pressure and potential contamination of the drinking water system.
The Health Unit says it is not safe to consume water directly from the tap, it must be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute prior to use.
The boil water advisory will remain in effect until two consecutive satisfactory water results are obtained by the Health Unit.
