South Bruce Grey Health Centre accepting applications for board of directors

The South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC) is inviting the public to apply for open positions on its board of directors.

The SBGHC provides provides healthcare to rural residents across its four hospital sites in Chesley, Durham, Kincardine and Walkerton.

44,000 local residents are served annually by those hospital sites, in addition to 10,000 seasonal residents and over 30,000 tourists, according to the SBGHC.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall governance of the affairs of SBGHC, and the organization is seeking members with skills, experience, qualities and diversity that are in line with its corporate mission, objectives, and strategic direction.

SBGHC is currently seeking applications from individuals with knowledge and expertise in the areas of legal, human resources, patient and health care advisory and finance.

Applicants should ideally be located within the area served by SBGHC. A full list of eligibility qualifications can be found on the organization's website here, and expressions of interest for membership are to be submitted through https://www.sbghc.on.ca/about-us/becoming-a-board-member/.

The application deadline is December 19, 2025.
