Local business contributes $50K towards Saugeen Shores aquatic centre

Mowbray’s Canadian Tire in Port Elgin has contributed $50,000 to the Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre in Saugeen Shores.

The Town of Saugeen Shores says the donation will be recognized through the sponsorship of the scoreboards in the facility's gym.

There is a $3 million fundraising goal for the facility. The Town of Saugeen Shores has entered the final phase of fundraising called The Drive for Five.

That represents the final $500,000 needed to meet fundraising goals to support the project.

Naming opportunities within the Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre, as well as other recognition options, are currently available for businesses that wish to support the facility, the town says.
