Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington wins CSI Award

Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington (CSGW) has won a Crime Stoppers International Award.

CSGW was selected as the winner of the Cybercrime and Digital Safety Initiative Award for a population of up to 300,000 on October 29.

The Cybercrime and Digital Safety Initiative Award recognizes a Crime Stoppers program that has "demonstrated leadership in tackling online crime, fraud, and digital threats through innovative education and prevention initiatives," according to Crime Stoppers International.

CSGW's The Cyber Safety Presentation was launched for students within the Upper Grand District School Board and Wellington Catholic District School Board in September of 2024.

The presentation was shown to over 8,000 students.
