Three people have been arrested after police seized weapons and drugs, including cocaine and fentanyl, in Mount Forest.
According to Wellington County OPP, on October 23 at 6 a.m., the Wellington County OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), supported by the Grey Bruce OPP CSCU, Huron-Perth OPP CSCU, Lambton OPP CSCU, and the Wellington County OPP Community Response Unit, conducted searches at locations on King, Queen, and Foster Streets in Mount Forest.
Police say the searches resulted in officers seizing various weapons and ammunition, suspected cocaine, suspected MDMA, suspected Fentanyl, Canadian Currency, cellular telephones, various drug-related paraphernalia, and stolen dirt bikes.
Total value of items and cash seized is estimated to be over $13,000.
A 42-year-old, 40-year-old and 36-year-old, all from Mount Forest, were arrested and charged with numerous drug related charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
All three of the accused were released from police custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on November 25, 2025.
