Time is running out to get tickets to a fundraiser for a great cause in Listowel.
Community Living North Perth will host The Power of a Place to Call Home – An Evening of Building Futures on Thursday, October 30 at the Listowel Golf Club banquet hall.
The event is a fundraiser to support Community Living's Bring Us Home Housing Campaign. That project will see an 15-unit supportive housing facility erected on Main Street in Listowel on land donated by the municipality.
Community Living North Perth supports adults with developmental disabilities in the area. Currently, there are 47 such adults waiting for a home in North Perth.
The evening will feature keynote speakers Leah and Sarah den Bok, known for their internationally acclaimed Humanizing the Homeless project, along with games, prizes, food, and community connection.
