Two charged in meth, cocaine bust

Two residents of Kincardine faces charges after police seized methampetamine, cocaine, ecstasy, and magic mushrooms.

According to the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police, an investigation into drug trafficking led to searches of properties in Kincardine and Huron-Kinloss in the early morning hours of October 15, 2025.

South Bruce OPP officers were assisted by the Grey-Bruce Community Street Crime Unit, as well as OPP officers from Wellington, Huron-Perth, Brant-Oxford, Middlesex, and Lambton counties.

"As a result of the search warrants, police seized a quantity of suspected illicit drugs, including 46 grams of methamphetamine, 7 grams of cocaine, 22 grams of Ecstasy / MDMA, 11 grams of Psilocybin," police said. "Officers also seized a small amount of Canadian currency and firearm ammunition."

A 47-year-old man from Kincardine is charged with five counts of possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking, three counts of possession of ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, and failing to comply with an undertaking.

A 19-year-old from Kincardine is charged with failing to comply with a release order.

Both were released from custody with court dates of October 31.

Police say the investigation also led to the arrest of a third person who was wanted by the Hanover Police Service.
