Walkerton Little Royal Fair returns October 17–19

The Walkerton Agricultural Society invites the community to celebrate agriculture, entertainment, and family fun at the 2025 Walkerton Little Royal Fair, taking place from October 17 to 19.

This year’s fair promises a packed schedule of events for all ages. Exhibitor drop-offs will take place on Thursday evening, October 16, in Buildings 2 and 3, followed by public access to the general exhibits on Friday evening. That night, visitors can enjoy classic championship wrestling in the Horse Palace, while the midway will be open from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with wristbands available for unlimited rides.

Saturday’s events kick off with registration for the Saddle Horse Show at 7:30 a.m., with the show beginning at 9 a.m. Children can enjoy the Teddy Bear Show, face painting, balloon twisting, and performances by Mojo the Magician. Outdoor highlights include the Circus Lumberjack show in front of Buildings 2 and 3 at 2:30 p.m. and again in the evening.

Sunday features a pedal tractor pull at 9:30 a.m., a pet show and judging, and a Heavy and Light Horse Show at noon. The fair concludes with the Ontario 4-Horse Hitch Draft Classic at 3 p.m. Exhibits can be picked up between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., with vehicles restricted on the grounds until 4:30 p.m.

Admission is $10 per day, $15 for the weekend, and $25 for a weekend family pass. Students can attend for $5.

Organizers say the fair continues a long tradition of bringing the community together to celebrate farming, culture, and family. For full schedules, rules, and exhibitor information, visit the Walkerton Agricultural Society’s website at walkertonagriculturalsociety.com.
