Complaints about trucks speeding through Kinburn prompted Huron OPP to inspect more than a dozen big rigs in the area.
Officers stopped 15 trucks as part of the checks, police said in a social media post on Friday.
In all, three charges under the Highway Traffic Act were laid - two for improper tires on a commercial vehicle and one for failure to ensure a daily inspection was completed properly.
Police also reportedly issued two warnings for having airlines hanging to close to the deck.
"Drivers: Please inspect your vehicles and trailers properly for your safety and the safety of every other motorist sharing the roads," police said in a statement. "Traffic safety is everyone's responsibility."
