Break-and-enter suspect charged by police after Clinton break-in

Huron County OPP have arrested and charged one person following a recent break-in at a Clinton home.

Police say on September 28, officers were called by a neighbour who claimed to have seen an unknown person inside a neighbouring home on Ontario Street in Clinton.

Officers arrived on-scene and arrested the suspicious individual nearby. Stolen property from the home was found on the suspect.

A 25-year-old of no fixed address has been charged with break-and-enter.

The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing, where they were remanded into custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich at a later date.
