Free child car seat clinic coming to Kincardine

A free child car seat clinic is coming to Kincardine.

The event will be on Saturday, October 4 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Kincardine Fire Station on 127 Mahood Johnston Drive.

This clinic is part of the Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) Training Course, where CPST candidates will receive real-world, hands- on experience while helping families with their car seat installations.

Open to all parents, grandparents, and guardians, the event is being done in partnership with the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada (CPSAC), the Municipality of Kincardine Fire Rescue, Community Foundation Grey Bruce, and United Way Bruce Grey.

Families are asked to bring their child’s car seat and vehicle. Bringing your child is encouraged for the most accurate fitting and instruction.

Drop-ins are welcome, but registration is encouraged to ensure time with a technician.

Register online at www.carseatclinic.org, call 1-800-794-1728 or email manager@unitedwaybg.com
