Ripley Reunion committee to dole out funds to community groups

Community groups, service clubs, and organizations in the Ripley area are being offered a chance to secure some extra cash to support their initiatives.

The Ripley Reunion Committee has issued a call for applications from local groups that would like a share of the money raised during this year's Ripley Reunion. The weekend celebration brought in a significant amount of funds thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, and participants, the committee said in a statement.

Local non-profit organizations, community groups and service clubs, and those overseeing initiatives that will directly benefit Ripley and surrounding area are encouraged to apply. The application form is available online and must include details about the project, amount of funding required, and information on how the project or program will positively impact the community.

“Supporting our community is at the heart of the Ripley Reunion,” said 2025 Committee Chair Matt Farrell. “We are proud to share the success of this year’s event by helping local groups and initiatives.”

The deadline to apply is October 10. After that dates, the committee will review all applications with an announcement on funding recipients to be made later this year.
