One person is dead and another was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious two-vehicle collision in South Huron Saturday morning.
Emergency services responded to a call at the intersection of Hwy 4 and Huron Park Road in Centralia around 5:30 a.m. The collision involved a tractor-trailer and a passenger van. According to police, both victims were in the van.
Hwy 4 from Crediton Road to Mount Carmel Drive was closed but has reopened.
The Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (T.I.M.E.) team is assisting the Huron County OPP with the investigation.
