A 30-year-old man is facing nearly a dozen charges after an argument spiralled into a break-in and violent attack in Georgian Bluffs.
Grey Bruce OPP were called about a disturbance at a home on Grey Road 1 just after 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Investigators determined people who were known to each other became engaged in an argument that escalated with one trying to break down the door of the home before ultimately forcing their way inside. Those in the home were assaulted, but did now suffer any physical injuries, police said.
A 30-year-old Georgian Bluffs man is charged with two counts each of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, assault with a weapon, disobeying a court order, failure to comply with probation, and one count each of armed robbery, and breaking and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence. The man is scheduled to appear in Owen Sound court on Wednesday.
Police did not specify what type of weapon was used in the attack.
