A 41-year-old man is facing nearly a dozen charges after crashing during an alleged attempt to evade police in Grey Highlands.
Grey Bruce OPP were called about a pickup truck being driven in an erratic manner, swerving across lanes in the area of Grey Road 4 and Concession 2 just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police found a vehicle matching the description and attempted to pull it over. But the driver did not stop and instead took off before crashing on Grey Road 4 between Highway 10 and West Back Line in Flesherton.
Officers arrived at the crash scene and took a man into custody without further incident.
Injuries from the collision were minor, police said.
A Mississauga man, 41, is charged with dangerous driving, flight from police, four counts of driving while under suspension, three counts of failing to comply with released order, and two counts of driving while prohibited. The man is scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charged on Wednesday.
