Provincial police in Perth County are turning to the public for help identifying a person and vehicle of interest in a home invasion that happened a month ago.
OPP began investigating on July 12 after two people broke into a home in the Municipality of West Perth and assaulted the homeowner.
A 33-year-old man from Stratford was arrested shortly after the incident. He was charged with half a dozen offences including break and enter, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, aggravated assault, and assault with a weapon. At the time of the first arrest, police said they were still looking for a second suspect.
On Tuesday, police publicly released two photos - one of a man and another of a four-door light blue hatchback vehicle. Both were described as being "of interest" to the ongoing investigation. The man is said to be Caucasian with dark medium length hair and a dark beard. He was wearing light coloured shorts and white shoes or slippers.
Anyone with information about the man or the vehicle pictured is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-222-8477 (TIPS).
