Work resumes at Bayshore Terrace Development in Owen Sound

The City of Owen Sound has issued a building permit for the Bayshore Terrace development, marking the restart of a previously stalled project at a key waterfront location.

The site, located directly across from the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre at 297 18th Street East, will feature 30 life-lease residential units in a four-storey structure.

Some preliminary repair work has already begun on the existing partially built structure, with full construction expected to begin soon. The project is being carried out by R. Graham Construction.

The City says the resumption of work at the Bayshore Terrace marks meaningful progress at a long-dormant property and is a positive step for the surrounding neighbourhood.

“I am pleased to see renewed investment and progress at a key site,” said Mayor Ian Boddy. "We look forward to this project moving ahead again and to welcoming new residents to this neighbourhood."
