Bruce County has announced a new Director of Government Relations.
The county says Jeff Loney will be taking on the role.
He will now be a part of Bruce County's Senior Leadership team and, according to the county, will "lead the efforts of government relations to support work achieving strategic goals across the organization. He will provide direct leadership to Economic Development, Legislative Services, Strategic Initiatives, and Communications in this new role."
Loney joined Bruce County in 2022 as the manager of economic development. He brings more than 10 years of experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and government as well as a masters of public administration.
He will assume his new role on September 2.

"Jeff’s experience and leadership will help continue to foster innovation, growth, and relationship building for Bruce County."
