Grey Bruce Public Health (GBPH) is hoping the public can help identify a dog that was involved in a recent biting incident in Sauble Beach.
According to GBPH, on Sunday, August 3 at 5 p.m., an individual was leaving the Circle K convenience store and was bitten by a dog.
The dog is described as a medium-sized, brown and white dog, wearing a plain collar. It was reportedly tied up outside the Circle K convenience store.
Staff at Grey Bruce Public Health need to confirm the dog involved in this biting incident is not infectious with rabies.
By verifying the health of the dog, the victim can avoid receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
