West Grey Police are looking for tips to locate a man that robbed a gas station at knifepoint just outside of Hanover Tuesday morning.
On July 29, around 3 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at the Circle K and Shell gas station located on Bruce Road 10 near Lake Rosalind.
According to police, the man entered the store armed with a large machete and demanded cash from the store clerk. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money but no injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as approximately 5'10" to six-feet tall with a slim build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a red full-body spandex suit that covered his face and head and black pants.
Police said the area was searched with help from the OPP K9 unit and Emergency Response Team members, but the suspect remains at large.
