Grey Bruce OPP laid hundreds of speeding charges during the Canada Day traffic safety campaign, which ran from June 27 to July 6.
According to a media release, Grey Bruce OPP officers laid 139 speeding charges during the campaign.
Additionally, there were 33 seatbelt charges, 3 charges related to people not wearing proper life jackets on the water, 13 impaired driving charges and 8 charges for stunt driving.
Officers focused on high-risk driving behaviours and safety equipment compliance to help reduce injuries and fatalities over the busy holiday period.
Police will continue to encourage road and waterway safety through ongoing enforcement.
