Police are renewing calls for tips that can help solve a nearly 40-year-old cold case surrounding a Kincardine woman's disappearance.
Lois Hanna was last seen 37 years ago, at the Lucknow Homecoming Dance in Huron-Kinloss on July 3, 1988. She was reported missing the following day when she never showed up to work. Kincardine Police first took on the case and then brought in the OPP a few days later.
South Bruce OPP have been renewing calls for information every year on the anniversary of her disappearance, treating the case as a homicide.
At the time of her disappearance, Hanna was 25 years old, 5'4" with brown eyes and short brown curly hair.
The Province of Ontario is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to her location.
The South Bruce OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
