Perth County staff are celebrating following the completion of the new courthouse entrance and administrative offices in Stratford.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on June 20, attended by council members, past wardens, Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae, members of the construction crew, and County staff.
The connecting link and office renovation project got started in the fall of 2023, with a goal of creating more space for staff and a centralized entrance to the building.
Following the completion of the construction work, access to the Perth County Courthouse at 1 Huron Street in Stratford can now be made through the new central entrance located off the parking lot. Staff will be available to direct members of the public as they enter the facility.
Limited customer parking is available during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) in marked spots in the adjacent lot.
The County reminds the public that the remainder of the parking lot is reserved for County Staff only, there is no public parking available at 1 Huron Street.
