Georgian Bluffs hosts Longest Day of Play

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is gearing up to welcome families, neighbours, and visitors for a day of lakeside fun with the debut of the Longest Day of Play. The event takes place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Sarawak Family Park, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In celebration of the start of summer, the Township has organized a packed schedule of free activities for all ages. Guests can look forward to inflatable games, paddleboard lessons, balloon twisting, and live music from local band Nuclear Vibes. Special appearances by Petunia the Clown and Big Bay’s Paddy Wagon will add extra excitement for younger guests.

A standout feature of the day will be free paddleboard lessons, offered by iSUP Saugeen Mobile Surf Shop. The sessions run hourly for different age groups and skill levels, with a drop-in session scheduled for the afternoon. Participants are reminded to bring swimwear, towels, sun protection, and a change of clothes if they plan to get on the water.

With no on-site parking at Sarawak Family Park, Martins Transit will provide free shuttle service throughout the event, with pickups at Keppel-Sarawak School and Indian Falls every half hour.

“With the event taking place right along the scenic shoreline, it’s a great chance to spend time outdoors and connect with others in the community,” said a media release from the Township.
