This year, the Wellington County Farmers' Market will be in a new location.
Starting weekly for the season on June 14, the market will now be hosted at 393 Parkside Drive in Mount Forest.
The market will offer local agricultural vendors the chance to sell their products directly to customers, while encouraging local residents to invest in local producers.
The Farmers’ Market will be primarily for the sale of food like meat, fish, poultry, eggs, butter, fruits and vegetables, as well as horticultural products like flowers, shrubs and plants, and other products such as home baked goods, preserves, home-made crafts and wood products.
The Wellington North Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to Noon from Saturday, June 14 to Saturday, September 27, with several special events planned throughout the season.
