A 60-year-old Georgian Bluffs man is facing charges after Wellington OPP stopped a pickup truck pulling a trailer load of pallets that were attached incorrectly.
The vehicle was pulled over as part of a proactive traffic enforcement initiative on Simpson Street East in Alma around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
An investigation found several Highway Traffic Act violations.
The driver, a 60-year-old from Georgian Bluffs, is charged with operating an overweight vehicle, drawing a trailer with no identification number, and failing to display an inspection sticker.
Additionally, the driver was given a warning for driving a commercial vehicle with no vail CVOR certificate, improper means of attachment, failure to surrender inspection schedule, failure to surrender completed daily inspection report, and failure to surrender permit for trailer.
