The West Grey Library is getting set to kick off a number of youth oriented events for the summer.

A media release from the library shares that the Touch-a-Truck event returns on Saturday, June 7 to the Durham Community Centre and Arena from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is hosted by the library and EarlyON.

Also, the Summer Reading Program kicks off with a bubble party on Saturday, June 28 also at the Durham Community Centre and Arena, from 1-3 p.m.

In addition to those events, on Saturday, June 14, kids up to 18 are welcome to sign up for the Library’s Summer Reading Program passport.

The passport features a number of challenges over the summer designed to reward youth for reading, including a teen escape room, nature club, board game café and more.
