Bruce Count is inviting residents in Kincardine and the surrounding area to drop off household hazardous waste at a collection event.
A media release from the county shares that on Saturday, May 10, residents can come to the Kincardine Public Works Yard from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. with household hazardous waste products.
That includes paints and stains, propane tanks, used oil, aerosols, batteries, antifreeze, oil filters, solvents, household cleaners, fluorescent lights, fertilizers, fuel, pharmaceuticals, fire extinguishers, pesticides, and pool chemicals.
Items that won't be accepted include Commercial waste, agricultural waste, industrial waste, PCB’s, ammunitions and flares, among others.
