Charges laid in two-vehicle crash near Chatsworth

A 46-year-old man is facing over half a dozen charges in connection with a two-vehicle crash southeast of Chatsworth.

Emergency crews were called to the collision on Highway 10 just north of Side Road 60 around 8:20 a.m. last Friday. No one was hurt in the incident, Grey Bruce OPP said.

Following an investigation, the driver of one of the involved vehicles was arrested.

A 46-year-old Central Manitoulin man is charged with two counts each of driving while suspended and failing to comply with release order and one count each of careless driving, using a plate not authorized for a vehicle, and driving a vehicle without insurance.

The man was held for a bail hearing in Owen Sound court, police said.
