A new detachment commander has been unveiled for the Huron County OPP's Clinton detachment.
A media release from the Huron County OPP shares that Inspector Laura Lee Brown has been named the new detachment commander.
Brown has worked in various capacities for the OPP over the years, including most recently at West Region Headquarters in London, as well as stops with the Perth County and Wellington County OPP.
Inspector Brown says she's looking forward to bringing her wealth of experience in policing to the position and helping to continue the smooth operation of the Huron County OPP.
"I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve the residents of Huron County as your detachment commander. It is my privilege to support the incredibly hardworking members of the Huron OPP Detachment and to foster the positive relationships we share with so many community partners. This collaborative approach to crime prevention and community safety is what strengthens communities, and I am thankful to be part of it," shared Inspector Brown.
