OPP say over $12,000 worth of suspected drugs was seized as part of an investigation that spanned from Toronto to Huron County.
According to police, an investigation was initiated in January by members of the Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit. That led investigators to addresses in Vanastra and North York.
On Tuesday, search warrants were executed at both properties, which police say resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs and related property, as well as charges for one Huron East man.
Along with a quantity of suspected fentanyl and cocaine, officers seized cellular phones, packaging, and a digital scale.
The 41-year-old is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking both fentanyl and cocaine.
The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing in Goderich court.
OPP say the investigation was conducted by officers from Huron County Grey-Bruce OPP CSCU, West Region OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team and Toronto Police Service.
