The Huron County Library is looking for young people to join the newly launched Huron County Youth Forum.
This new forum looks to build on the work the library has done with its Libraries Transforming Communities project.
The youth forum is aimed at those aged 15-21 who are "looking for opportunities to connect, learn, and engage with their peers on activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and leadership," according to the joint media release from the Huron County Library and the county.
Starting on Wednesday, March 26, the forum will kick off with a virtual session at 7 p.m. to discuss issues youth are seeing in their communities, ideas and trends that matter to them and ways that community building can be encouraged.
To register for the first session, or to be kept informed of future gatherings, you can email Jim Seale, Huron County Library Programming and Community Engagement Coordinator at jseale@huroncounty.ca.
