Half-load restrictions begin Saturday for several area municipalities.
In an effort to protect roadways during the spring thaw, certain county-owned roads in Grey and Bruce County will have a maximum weight limit of five tonnes per axle.
The restriction will be in place until May 1.
Along with those counties, the City of Owen Sound, Municipality of West Grey and Municipality of Huron East all have load restrictions in place on municipally-owned roads.
