Over 600 people attended the 2025 Grey County Regional Job Fair.
Savanna Myers, Director of Economic Development, Tourism and Culture, told Grey County council on Thursday that 64 employers reserved booths at the event.
"What we did hear from our businesses was that they were very satisfied with the clients that were coming through," said Myers. "So we're seeing higher skilled folks looking for work, which is good news for the businesses who are looking to fill highly skilled jobs."
Myers added that a lot of connections were made during the job fair.
"Most employers were leaving with at least twelve resumes that they were ready to proceed with an interview for," revealed Myers. "So that is a good sign, again. Reinforcement, the candidates were excellent."
The job fair was held at the Bayshore Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound on Thursday, February 20.
