Residents have the chance to support local community projects while also entering to win a cash prize of up to $5,000 with the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation’s (ABCF) 50-50 raffle.
The draw is part of the 35th Conservation Dinner, set to take place on April 3. A total of 1,000 tickets have been printed, and each ticket costs $10. If all tickets are sold, the jackpot could reach the maximum prize. Proceeds from the draw will go toward much-needed community initiatives that would not be possible without this support.
Chris Keller, Chair of the Conservation Dinner Committee and a member of the Exeter Lions Club, encourages people to participate.
"Buying a ticket for the 50-50 draw is a great way to show support for your community and to earn a chance to win a large cash prize," he said.
The 50-50 draw will take place at 8 p.m. during the Conservation Dinner at the South Huron Recreation Centre in Exeter.
Tickets can be purchased from Exeter Lions Club or Conservation Dinner Committee members, as well as at the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation office at 71108 Morrison Line, east of Exeter. Interested individuals can also call 519-235-2610 or toll-free at 1-888-286-2610.
Tickets must be sold in Ontario under Lottery Licence #M835225.
