Grey Bruce OPP are looking for a suspect after a convenience store robbery in Markdale.
A woman walked into the store on Toronto Street around 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, announced to the clerk "this is a robbery" and demanded cash.
The woman then took off with approximately $150. She was last seen in an unknown vehicle travelling southbound on Highway 10 toward Flesherton.
No injuries were reported.
Police released a suspect description and photo to the public on Friday morning. They said they are looking for a Caucasian woman, roughly 5'2'', with a very thin build, deep feminine voice, and fingernails painted bright red with sparkles. At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a camo baseball cap, a "Caterpiller" grey hoodie, black pants, white shoes, a red bandana, and ski goggles.
Anyone who can identify the suspect or who has surveillance video from around the time of the robbery from the area of Toronto Street and Highway 10 South toward Flesherton to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
