Areas off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay are in store for more snowfall after the dumping over the weekend.
Environment Canada issued a snow squall watch for areas around midwestern Ontario because snow squalls are expected to develop.
The weather agency said gusty winds combined with freshly fallen snow will lead to blowing and drifting snow.
It said near blizzard conditions cannot be ruled out.
Accumulations are expected to be between 30 centimetres to 60 centimetres.
"There remains uncertainty with the exact positioning of snow squalls and which regions will receive the highest amounts," Environment Canada said.
It is advising to postpone any non-essential travel as visibility may be suddenly and significantly reduced.
Environment Canada also warns highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may be hard to navigate with accumulating snow.
