New campaign raises over $9,000 for United Way Perth-Huron

United Way Perth-Huron (UWPH) announced the inaugural results of a new fundraising campaign this week.

The Keys for Community wrapped up with six local car dealerships raising $9,025 for United Way's programming to reduce poverty, house people, and support mental health and well-being.

During the final fours months of 2024, participating local dealerships donated $25 from each sale to the campaign.

"We are grateful to the six participating dealerships for their support of United Way," said UWPH Executive Director, Ryan Erb. "We appreciate their commitment to helping us build a better community with the help of their customers. Their generosity speaks volumes about their commitment to the communities they call home and makes a real difference in the lives of vulnerable people across the region."

Participating dealerships included Stratford Honda ($2,925 raised), Stratford Motor Products ($2,725 raised), Stratford Nissan ($1,225 raised), Stratford City Mazda ($1,200 raised), Pentastic Motors in Gorrie ($750 raised) and DeJong Auto Ltd in Brucefield ($200 raised).

Last year, over 25,000 people were helped thanks in part to United Way’s support.
