The Township of Georgian Bluffs has finalized the budget for 2025.
Ratepayers in the township will see a municipal tax rate increase of 4.11 per cent in 2025. That means the average single-family dwelling assessed at $300,000 is looking at an annual municipal tax increase of $83.78.
The total tax levy for 2025 amounts to $13.7 million in community investment. The budget includes the Township’s service partners such as the OPP, Grey Sauble Conservation Authority, and the Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Library.
There is also an emphasis on infrastructure, including significant investments in 2025 in the hard top surface program, bridge rehabilitation, sidewalks, and parks and facilities.
"Our priority is delivering high-quality services while continuing to invest in the future of Georgian Bluffs," said Mayor Sue Carleton. "This budget reflects the values of our community, ensuring progress towards our vision and investment in areas that matter most."
