Bruce County looking for students to fill summer jobs

Students have until the end of the month to apply to work for Bruce County.

A variety of full-time summer positions and one week-long March break roles have been posted online to the Bruce County Career Connector.

"Bruce County seeks to hire students that are driven, dedicated, and thrive in a dynamic public service environment," the county said in a statement. "Student job opportunities in Bruce County provide meaningful experiences working on projects and initiatives that positively impact local communities and residents."

Among the available student jobs are landscaping and recreation posts at long-term care homes in Walkerton and Wiarton, marketing and programming assistant roles at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton, and positions with transportation and environmental services in Walkerton, Paisley, and Lucknow.

The bulk of the jobs will run from May to August.
