A search warrant resulted in the arrest of two people by Huron County OPP.
An investigation that began in December of 2024 led investigators to issue a search warrant at an address in Crediton in the Municipality of South Huron on Victoria Avenue East.
On January 8, members of the Huron County OPP Community Street Crimes Unit and other police units executed the search warrant which resulted in the recovery and seizure of stolen property, as well as imitation firearms, knives, brass knuckles, firearm magazines, firearm components, and a stun gun.
Two people were arrested and charged. A 36-year-old from South Huron and a 43-year-old from Goderich are now facing a lengthy list of charges including break-and-enter, possession of stolen property and numerous weapons offences.
Both of the accused were processed and held for a bail hearing at the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice, where they were remanded into custody.
