Over $1,000 worth of booze stolen from Meaford LCBO

Grey Bruce OPP are asking the public for help identifying a suspect in the theft of a large quantity of alcohol from the LCBO in Meaford.

According to police, a man recently went into the liquor store and stole more than $1,000 worth of product before leaving in a black Dodge Charger with licence plate number DCCD100.

The man is described as 5'9", with a tattoo on the left side of his neck, and was wearing red puma shoes, jeans, red Buffalo Sabres toque, grey jacket, and a black hoodie.

Police believe the same man is responsible for thefts from other LCBO locations across the province.

On Tuesday, police publicly released photos of a suspect in the case.

Anyone who recognizes the man or spots the suspect vehicle is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
