Environment Canada is calling for snow squalls and local blowing snow for the midwestern part of the province.
Lake effect snow squalls are expected to form off Lake Huron in the wake of a low pressure system.
This is expected to start Wednesday afternoon and last until Thursday evening.
There will be northwest winds gusting to 60 km/h which will result in local blowing snow.
The national weather agency advises to postpone non-essential travel as visibility and road conditions may be suddenly reduced.
