Central Huron man faces impaired charged after three vehicles stuck in snow

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Central Huron man with impaired driving following a traffic hazard.

Police were called to Kinburn Line in Central Huron on December 23, 2024 about a school bus blocking a lane of traffic. Police attended the scene and spoke to the driver and discovered he was impaired.

The driver had allegedly driven three different vehicles and managed to get them all, including the school bus stuck in the snow.

A 52-year-old man was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the Perth County OPP detachment.

The involved vehicles were towed and impounded for seven days and the accused driver's licence was suspended for 90 days.

The man was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court Justice in Goderich on January 20, 2025.
